Manuscripts should be 2,000–5,000 words. Abstract must be 150–250 words followed by 5–8 relevant keywords.

Everything you need to know before and after submitting your manuscript to IEEESEM.

Yes. Every submission undergoes a rigorous double-blind peer review by at least two independent subject-matter experts. Reviewers are anonymous to authors, and authors are anonymous to reviewers, ensuring unbiased evaluation.
IEEESEM enforces a strict zero-plagiarism policy. Manuscripts with a similarity index above 10% (excluding references and common phrases) will be returned to the author for revision before the review process begins. We recommend checking your paper with a plagiarism tool before submission.
The typical review process takes 2–3 weeks from submission to decision. This includes 1–2 days for initial screening, 10–14 days for peer review, and 1–2 days for the editorial decision. Expedited review may be available on request.
EOI stands for Evidence of Indexing. It is an official certificate issued to each author upon publication, confirming that their paper has been published in IEEESEM and is indexed across our partner databases. EOI certificates are dispatched within 24 hours of publication.
Conference papers may be submitted if they have been substantially extended (at least 30% new content) and the conference paper has not been published in a journal. Authors must disclose the prior conference presentation in their submission cover letter. Final acceptance is at the discretion of the editorial board.
All references must follow the IEEE citation format. A minimum of 10 references is recommended, with a preference for recent publications (post-2018). References should be listed numerically in order of citation in the text.
